Re-Energizing the Legacy of Frederick Douglass Bicentennial Project
Volunteers enacting Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel painting of the hands of God and Adam touching with copies of Frederick Douglass' hands.
The studio environment was one of playfulness and hard work. Volunteers had the option of helping any amount of time they could- even for half an hour. People of all walks of life came, representing how much Douglass is loved in Rochester, NY and beyond.
