2018 Bicentennial Frederick Douglass Volunteers
2018 Bicentennial Frederick Douglass Volunteers
2022

The Bicentennial project began as a secret project, which drew over 200 volunteers to help Olivia produce 13 Frederick Douglass sculptures in 6 months.

An enormous amount of love was poured into these statues. The project is a stellar example of community cooperation, and has drawn local, national and international attention. Please visit www.douglasstour.com to see more about the Bicentennial celebration and to access the self-guided walking tour that covers the historically significant locations of the statues that related to Douglass' life in Rochester.

Olivia thanks the local and international volunteers who came to help with this project. It was impossible to do so much, so fast alone!
